One of the most valuable things in life is your health and wellness. Good nutrition is the key. However, our food has lost it’s nutrients, and we are forced to take supplements to get those nutrients. But are all supplements created equal? SUPPLEMENTS— NOT ALL ARE CREATED EQUAL

A natural supplement is one that has concentrated, nutrient-derived ingredients from a quality natural source. There should be no artificial color, sweeteners, or preservatives. If there are, then those supplements are considered to be synthetic. In all ways, natural is better than synthetic—except one: price. Synthetic supplements cost far less than natural ones. However, because synthetic supplements can be harmful, natural ones are well worth the extra cost. Organic Vitamins “Organic” has really become a household term. However, there are two types of “organic” when it comes to supplements. The “grocery store” type, and the “scientific” type. In the” grocery store” type, the supplements are made from whole-food derived ingredients minus the insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, and have the “organic” seal of approval on them. 1. Does the product contain any binders, fillers, coatings, excipients or flow agents? These are synthetic and possible harmful.

2. Does the product contain preservatives? Potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate are potentially harmful/toxic.

3. Is this product heat-processed? Heat can kill the living matter, important enzymes, co-factors, and nutrients.

4. Are there minerals present? Minerals are the catalyst to the vitamins. You need more than 70 different minerals daily. Stay away from inorganic toxic minerals. Carbon-based organic minerals appear to be the safest and most effective.

5. Does the product contain ascorbic acid? This is synthetic vitamin C.

7. Are there any artificial flavors, colors, additives, preservatives, synthetics, etc., in the product? Does it contain any wheat (gluten), corn, yeast, soy, dairy, nuts, animal products, etc?

8. Is the product ultra-hypoallergenic (non-allergenic)? We must add supplements to our diets. Be sure you know what you’re getting.
